Abdalla Samy

Abdalla Samy has extensive work experience in the field of design and user experience. Abdalla is currently working as the Head of Design at Tweeq. Prior to that, they worked at IBM as a User Experience Designer from February 2014 to October 2021. Abdalla also has experience working at ITWorx as a Senior User Interface Developer and User Interface Developer, where they were responsible for implementing UI design, developing web pages and applications, and incorporating graphic UI features. Before that, they worked at GCSSD as a User Interface Developer, where they identified user requirements, created UX deliverables, and delivered front-end design assets. Abdalla also worked at AROMA DESIGNS&SOLUTIONS as a User Interface Developer and at Pfizer Co as a Trainee.

Abdalla Samy obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Modern Sciences and Arts University, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Prior to that, they attended Dar El Tarbiah School from 2002 to 2004, where they completed the IGCSE - International General Certificate of Secondary Education. Additionally, they obtained several certifications including IBM Design Thinking Collaborator and IBM Design Thinking Practitioner from IBM in 2017 and 2016 respectively. Abdalla also achieved the Microsoft Certified Professional certification and the Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 Specialist certification from Microsoft in 2013.
