Abdulaziz AlMalki

Abdulaziz AlMalki has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Abdulaziz is currently the Co-Founder and CTO of Tweeq, a company they co-founded in 2020. Prior to this, they worked as an Advisor at Tamkeen Technologies from 2017 to 2020, where they established the Platform Engineering department and team, enabling rapid software delivery through a cloud native platform and infrastructure.

In 2017, Abdulaziz also co-founded Glance Care and served as its CTO until 2020. Abdulaziz'srole involved overseeing the technical aspects of the company.

Before that, Abdulaziz worked at STC Solutions as a Cloud Services Senior Architect from 2015 to 2017. Abdulaziz led the engineering team in building the Bluvalt Platform and the STC Cloud Marketplace.

From 2013 to 2016, Abdulaziz was the CTO and Co-Founder of spi90, a company that provided valuation services and performance statistics for football players.

Abdulaziz gained expertise in software development at Elm, where they worked as a Senior Developer from 2012 to 2015. Abdulaziz led a team in providing integration for various systems and service providers.

Abdulaziz started their career as a Software Engineer at Confidential in 2012, where they developed social media analytics software. Abdulaziz also worked at Bank Albilad as a Senior Developer, developing and maintaining internet banking and trade web applications from 2009 to 2012.

Prior to that, they worked as an MIS Specialist at Al Rajhi Bank in 2008 and as a Software Engineer at Futureware from April to November 2008.

Abdulaziz AlMalki completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) between 2001 and 2007. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications including AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services in February 2018, Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) and Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) from the CNCF (Cloud Native Computing Foundation) in March and April 2019 respectively, CompTIA Security+ Certified in June 2009, ICAgile Certified Professional in April 2013, and various other certifications in the field of cloud computing and database management, such as Cloud Computing Concepts, Part 1 from Coursera in December 2018, Apache Cassandra™ 3.x Developer Associate from DataStax in June 2020, and Getting Started With CockroachDB Certificate of Completion from Cockroach Labs in July 2020.
