Danique Almering has a diverse work experience in the operations and customer care field. Danique worked at Twelve as the Head of Operations starting from October 2022. Prior to that, they were the Head of Customer Care at Twelve from February 2021 to October 2022. Danique also worked as a Customer Care Manager at Twelve from May 2019 to January 2021. Before joining Twelve, Danique worked at Le Credit Sportif as a Communications Medewerker, and later as a Marketing and Communications Employee from August 2017 to April 2018. Danique also had a marketing and communications internship with Le Credit Sportif from January 2016 to June 2016.

Danique Almering's education history begins with their high school education at Maurick College, where they attended from 2006 to 2012. Danique pursued the Gymnasium curriculum during their time there. Following their high school education, they enrolled at Utrecht University, where they completed their Bachelor's degree in Business & Media Communication and Psychology in 2015. In 2012, they also became an alumnus of Utrecht University, having completed their degree in Communicatie- en informatiewetenschappen. Danique later pursued further studies at Utrecht University, completing their Master's degree in Communicatie, Beleid en Management (Bestuur- en Organisatiewetenschappen) from 2016 to 2017. Additionally, they had the opportunity to study abroad at the University of Oklahoma in 2015.
