Jiangjin Liu

Jiangjin Liu is a seasoned engineering professional with a robust academic background in mechanical engineering and extensive experience in multi-scale multi-physics modeling. Currently serving as a Staff Modeling Engineer at Twelve since April 2022, Jiangjin Liu previously held the position of Senior Modeling Engineer at the same firm. Prior to that role, Jiangjin Liu was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Berkeley Lab from December 2019 to April 2022, focusing on the modeling of electrochemical energy conversion devices and bubble dynamics in gas evolution electrodes. Earlier, from January 2017 to November 2019, Jiangjin Liu worked as a Research Assistant at Tufts University, developing algorithms for reactive diffusive transport in porous media and integrating COMSOL Multiphysics with MATLAB. Jiangjin Liu began the academic journey as a Teaching Assistant at Penn State University, specializing in fluid mechanics. Educational credentials include a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University, a Master of Science from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and a Bachelor of Engineering from Tsinghua University.
