David Archer

David Archer has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. David is currently the Director of Software Engineering at Twig Education, where they lead a team of individuals across multiple locations. Prior to this, they worked at Amazon as a Software Development Manager, overseeing a team responsible for creating and maintaining models and products related to eligibility in the Recruiting domain. Before Amazon, David was the Software Engineering Manager at OVO, where they focused on improving the company's foundational software and driving the transition to a microservices architecture. David also served as a Technical Lead at OVO. Earlier in their career, David worked as a Scrum Master and Software Developer at Covetrus, a Software Developer at Codeweavers Ltd, and as a Computer Science Teacher at a secondary school. David also has experience as a Managing Director at RED TEA WEB LIMITED. David's technical skills include C#, .NET, and Python, among others.

David Archer's education history is as follows:

From 2020 to 2022, they attended the Chartered Management Institute and obtained a Diploma at SCQF Level 8 in the field of Management and Leadership.

From 2016 to 2018, they studied at The Open University, earning a Certificate of Higher Education (CertHE) in Mathematical Sciences.

Between 2013 and 2015, they pursued a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Computer Science at the University of Warwick.

From 2005 to 2009, they attended the University of Central Lancashire and completed a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) degree in Business Information Systems with Japanese.

During their time at the University of Central Lancashire, from 2007 to 2009, they also studied Japanese Language and Literature at the Kanda University of International Studies.
