Andrew Hitti

Andrew Hitti is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the Director of Engineering for Emerging Technology & Innovation at Twilio since October 2022, where involvement includes AI initiatives. Prior to this, Andrew held various roles at Twilio, including Senior Manager of Software Engineering. At Raya, from January 2019 to September 2022, Andrew progressed through positions such as Director of Engineering and Senior Software Engineer, focusing on creating meaningful connections. Andrew also shared knowledge as an Adjunct Professor of Computer Science at Columbia University in 2018, teaching a course on Modern iOS Application Development. Additionally, Andrew has a strong background at Bloomberg LP as a Senior Software Engineer and a Financial Software Developer Intern, as well as experience as the CEO and Co-Founder of The Ripple Effect, Inc., where Andrew led the development of several successful iOS applications. Andrew's career began with software engineering internships at Venmo, SecondMarket, and hackNY.org, following a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Columbia University earned in 2013.
