Igor Pletnjov

Igor Pletnjov is a Principal Software Engineer at Twilio since July 2019, currently leading the Conversations group and overseeing multiple teams in Tallinn and Seattle. With a robust background in software engineering, Igor has held various roles at Twilio, including Technical Lead, Staff Software Engineer, and Senior Software Engineer, focusing on product initiatives, architectural design, and mentoring. Prior experience includes roles at Telia Eesti as System Architect and Senior Software Developer, where Igor was involved in telco billing and payment processing solutions. Earlier positions at Arvato Financial Solutions and Telia Eesti included backend Java development for debt collection and billing systems. Igor holds a Bachelor of Science in Informatics from TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology, completed in 2016.
