Pooya Jaferian

Pooya Jaferian is a Principal Software Engineer at Twilio, specializing in web integrations and libraries for Twilio Segment since August 2022. Prior to this role, Pooya served as a Senior Engineering Manager for Segment under Twilio, leading teams responsible for libraries and SDKs across various platforms. Pooya's experience includes positions as Engineering Manager at Atrium, where the focus was on professional services for startups, and at Parsable, leading frontend development across distributed teams. Additionally, Pooya has been an Adjunct Faculty member at the New York Institute of Technology and has held software engineering roles at Hootsuite Media Inc., Nokia Siemens Networks, and Data Processing. Pooya holds a PhD in Computer Engineering from the University of British Columbia, along with an MSc and BSc in Computer Software Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology.
