Somesh Suman

Somesh Suman is a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in software development and service architecture. Currently at Twilio Inc. since March 2019, Somesh has contributed to building the Envoy Service Mesh, OPA, and Spire for service communication and authorization, as well as migrating services to AL22 and enabling containerization. Prior to Twilio, Somesh worked at Prosper Marketplace from January 2018 to March 2019, focusing on HELOC and automating the credit amount for loan bidding. Somesh's career began at AppDynamics as a Software Engineer from August 2014 to December 2017 and included a role as Module Lead at Persistent Systems from August 2010 to August 2014, where Somesh developed an Attribute Authority for aggregating attributes from various services and databases across Cisco. Somesh holds a B.Tech in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Padmanava College of Engineering, completed in 2007.
