Amy Kalar, AIA, serves as the Process Improvement Manager at Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity since November 2024 and is the President of the AIA Minnesota Board of Directors, a position held since January 2023. Kalar has a diverse background in architecture, having held roles such as Project Manager at BWBR and Cuningham Group, and Medical Planner at GBBN Architects. Kalar has also been involved in the Minnesota Architectural Foundation as a Board Member and past President. With a Master's degree in Architecture from Montana State University and extensive experience in healthcare architecture, Kalar specializes in all phases of design, particularly medical planning. Additionally, Kalar contributed to the AIA-MN Women in Architecture Committee as Co-Chair and served as an Adjunct Faculty at St. Catherine University.
