Lisa Shah

Lisa Shah is the current Chief Medical Officer at Twin Health. Lisa has also served as the Chief Medical Officer at Advantia Health and the Chief Innovation Officer at Sound Physicians. Prior to their current positions, Shah was with Evolent Health for 4 years and 11 months, where they held various titles including SVP, Clinical Operations and Network, Vice President, Clinical Transformation, and Managing Director, Clinical Delivery. In these roles, Shah led health system partners in transformation to value based care through strategic insight into clinical and financial drivers required for success in a value driven landscape. Shah also served as an Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins Hospital for 5 years and 3 months, where they were a hospitalist on the adult inpatient service and supported the training of residents, students, and staff in health care policy and value base care. Additionally, Shah served as the Medical Director of Population Health at Clinovations for 2 years and 4 months and as a Senior Manager at Avalere Health for 1 year and 1 month. Shah began their career as an Instructor in the Section of Hospital Medicine at the University of Chicago Hospitals, where they worked for 7 years.

Lisa Shah attended Duke University from 1994 to 1998, where they majored in English and Spanish and took some pre-med courses. Lisa then attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey - New Jersey Medical School from 1998 to 2002. Finally, they pursued a Master's in Public Policy at the University of Chicago from 2006 to 2008.
