Gavin Meredith has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Starting in 1998, they worked as a Post-doctoral Fellow at the University of California, Irvine, conducting signal transduction research. Gavin then joined Invitrogen/Life Technologies in 2004 as a Scientist. In 2008, Gavin moved to Life Technologies - Ion Torrent, where they held various roles, including Sr. Scientist, Staff Scientist, and Sr. Staff Scientist. Gavin then joined Thermo Fisher Scientific in 2014 as an Associate Director, Ion Torrent Commercial Applications. Gavin Meredith started their education at Walnut Hills High School from 1980 to 1985. During this time, they pursued studies in various fields. In 1985, they also briefly attended Clarkson University but did not complete a degree there.

Gavin then enrolled at the University of Cincinnati from 1986 to 1990, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. Gavin'sfields of study during this time included Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Gavin Meredith joined Stanford University in 1990 and remained there until 1997. Gavin earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biophysics. At Stanford, they focused on the fields of Biophysics and Structural Biology.

In recent years, Gavin Meredith pursued further education at Seattle Pacific University. From 2020 to 2021, they obtained a Master's degree in Teaching Math & Science. Additionally, during the same period, they completed a Master of Teaching degree in Secondary Education and Teaching.

Gavin Meredith also holds certifications to support their teaching endeavors. In January 2021, they obtained an Emergency Substitute Teacher certification from the State of Washington. Later, in August 2021, they obtained the State of Washington Education Certificate from the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction.
