Jan van Riel

Jan Van Riel is a seasoned technology leader currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Telmio since April 2024. Previously, Jan co-founded Twintag in September 2015, where Jan continues to contribute as a Founder and Board Member while also serving as Co-founder and CTO of Esoptra, a software company established in 2017 that focuses on innovative ultralight information access and integration. Prior to these roles, Jan held key positions such as Founder and CTO of SOS Vertigo - Telmio, VP of Advanced Technology at Caringo, Inc., and Director of Technology at EMC. Jan began the career as CTO at FilePool from 1999 to 2000. Jan holds a master's degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Electronics and Computer Science from Katholieke Hogeschool Kempen.
