Crystal Safavi

Crystal Safavi, MSc, currently serves as a Research Associate II in Antibody Engineering at Twist Bioscience, having progressed through various roles including Research Associate and Manufacturing Associate since April 2020. Prior experience includes a Research Internship at NYU Langone Health under Dr. Pratip Chattopadhyay, where laboratory skills in flow cytometry and protocol development were honed, as well as teaching assistant roles at NYU Tandon School of Engineering, where Crystal supported introductory biology courses. Additional internships at BD involved scientific affairs and reagent development, further emphasizing skills in research, experiment execution, and presentation of findings. Crystal holds a Master of Science in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biomolecular Science from NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering.
