Donn Almeida

Donn Almeida currently serves as a Product Line Specialist in Gene Production at Twist Bioscience since November 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a UTI Lab Technologist and Technical Specialist at Molecular Testing Labs from July 2020 to November 2022, where responsibilities encompassed training, validation experiments, SOP creation, reagent quality control, and compliance with GMP standards. Additionally, Donn worked as a DNA/RNA Lab Technologist, specializing in high-throughput nucleic acid extraction and qPCR assays for SARS-CoV-2 and urinary tract infections. Previous experience also includes a position as a Research Assistant at the University of Oregon, focusing on neutrophil cell lines and protein purification assays. Donn Almeida holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Oregon.
