Paul Heilman

Paul Heilman is an accomplished electrical engineer with extensive experience in hardware engineering and design. Currently serving as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Twist Bioscience since June 2013, Paul is instrumental in the development of printers essential to the company's DNA manufacturing process. Prior roles include Principal Hardware Engineer at both BrightScale and Glimmerglass Networks, as well as Director of Hardware Engineering at VeriStar, where Paul designed hardware for a fingerprint-based point of sale terminal. Additionally, Paul managed a team at HMSI, overseeing the design of microprocessors and related software. Paul began as a research engineer at SRI, following the attainment of a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
