John Bleau

John Bleau has a diverse work experience spanning several years in various roles related to design and creativity. John is currently working as a Design Strategist at Twisthink, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they established their own company called JB Creative Services in 2017, where they served as a Creative Consultant, focusing on visual storytelling in product development. John also has experience in teaching as an Adjunct Faculty Member at the College for Creative Studies since 2021 and an Adjunct Faculty at Lawrence Technological University since 2021.

In terms of previous professional positions, John worked at Adient as a Design Specialist in 2018. Before that, they spent a significant portion of their career at Magna International, where they held the role of Magna Industrial Design Studio Manager from 2004 to 2017. Prior to this, they worked at Johnson Controls inc as an Industrial Design Studio Manager, gaining international experience in Germany and handling responsibilities ranging from personnel management to program and workflow organization.

John's earlier experiences include working as an Adjunct Visual Communication Instructor at Kendall College in 1998, serving as a Senior Designer at Prince Corp from 1993 to 1997, and working as a Staff Designer at Fitch/Richardson Smith from 1991 to 1993.

Throughout their career, John has demonstrated a strong passion for design, visualization, and user experiences, collaborating with designers, inventors, and researchers to create innovative solutions.

John Bleau attended Michigan State University from 1984 to 1987, where they studied general engineering and industrial design. Following that, from 1987 to 1990, they attended the College for Creative Studies and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design.
