Alexander Mills

Alexander Mills is an accomplished Full-Stack Engineer and Platform Engineer currently serving as the Platform Engineering Lead at Twitch since November 2020. With extensive experience as a Sales Engineer and Customer Support Engineer at ORESoftware since June 2015, Alexander has also contributed significantly as a Teaching Assistant and Associate Researcher at The University of Texas at Austin from August 2020 to May 2023. Previous roles include Full Stack Engineer at ChannelMeter, DevOps and Platform Engineer at Interos Inc, and Software Engineering Lead at Cisco, where a range of software development and DevOps projects were undertaken. Alexander has a strong educational background with a Master's and PhD candidacy in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, a Cum Laude Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University at Buffalo, and a BA in Analytic Philosophy from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
