VP Transaction Management at Two Harbors Investment

Ben Johnston has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Ben began their career in 2001 at Merrill Lynch, where they served as a Records Management Supervisor and later as a Syndicate Loan Administrator. In these roles, they were responsible for managing staff, organizing loan documents, and implementing imaging systems.

In 2006, Ben moved to Merrill Lynch/Bank of America as a Risk Analyst, where they analyzed loan details, coordinated vendor management projects, and processed claims of ID theft and lending discrepancies.

In 2010, Ben joined IBM as a Bankruptcy Team Lead, overseeing a production-driven team of bankruptcy account specialists and managing staffing, coaching, and disciplinary actions. Ben later became a Compliance Change Manager, acting as a project manager and collaborating with stakeholders to implement compliance mandated process changes.

In 2015, Ben transitioned to Two Harbors Investment Corp. as an AVP Service Transfers, followed by roles as AVP Transaction Manager and currently as VP Transaction Management. These positions involve various responsibilities related to transaction management and service transfers.

Ben Johnston attended the University of Utah from 2002 to 2006, where they studied history. From 2006 to 2008, they attended Portland State University and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History.
