Nicholas Severson

Nicholas Severson, CPA has a diverse work experience with a focus on internal audit and SOX management. Nicholas started their career at PwC as an Assurance Intern in 2011. Nicholas then joined Park Bank as a Customer Service Banker and worked there for five years. In 2012, they returned to PwC as an Assurance Associate. From 2013 to 2018, Nicholas worked at Protiviti, starting as an Experienced Consultant and progressing to the roles of Senior Consultant and Manager. In 2018, they transitioned to Two Harbors Investment Corp. and later moved to Granite Point Mortgage Trust Inc., where they held the position of Vice President, Internal Audit & SOX Manager.

Nicholas Severson, CPA, holds a Master's degree in Accounting from the Wisconsin School of Business, obtained in 2012. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the same institution in 2011. In 2007-2008, Nicholas attended the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, although no degree or field of study is specified. Nicholas obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in October 2013.
