Jaakko Kourula

Jaakko Kourula's work experience begins with their current role as the Head of Platform and QA Services at twoday Finland, which they started in December 2021. Prior to this, they worked at TietoEVRY from June 2018 to November 2021 as a Senior Solution Consultant, where they held various leading roles in internal culture development, employee experience, and as a DevOps consultant. Jaakko also served as a team lead for a DevOps competence team for over two years, which included managerial and sales responsibilities.

Before joining TietoEVRY, Jaakko worked as the QA and DevOps Lead at ResQ Club from June 2017 to June 2018. Jaakko also had a brief stint as a Senior Software Developer at Pharazon AB from March 2017 to June 2017.

In 2016, Jaakko held positions as a Senior Consultant at Eficode from August 2016 to March 2017 and as a Team Leader at Tieto from March 2016 to August 2016.

From March 2014 to March 2016, Jaakko worked at Smilehouse Oy, where they served as a Team Leader for support operations and also worked as a Software Developer and QA Lead. Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Designer at Internetyhtiö Revanssia Oy from August 2011 to March 2012.

Jaakko's work experience also includes serving as the CTO at Equal Dreams from September 2008 to July 2011, and working as a summer substitute at the Bank of Finland between 2005 and 2008.

From 2002 to 2008, Jaakko Kourula attended the University of Helsinki, where they pursued a degree in M. Sci. During this time, they focused their studies on mathematics, computer science, and statistics.
