Elisa Nurmi

Elisa Nurmi is a Software Engineer currently employed at Mobidiag, A Hologic Company, since November 2019, with prior experience as a Junior Software Engineer. Before transitioning into software development, Elisa worked at Outotec as a trainee in Operational Excellence, where involvement included project management and the development of digital solutions. Elisa's healthcare background includes roles as a Public Health Nurse and Registered Nurse with the City of Helsinki, focusing on preventative care, health education, and patient treatment. Elisa's practical nursing experience encompasses primary care for elderly patients with memory disorders. Additionally, Elisa held various roles in the hospitality sector and contributed as a Secretary Assistant at the National Institute for Health and Welfare. Elisa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Helsinki and a Bachelor of Health Care degree in Public Health Nursing from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences.
