Megan Penn

Megan Penn has a diverse work experience, beginning with their role as Director of Global Education at the United Nations Association of the National Capital Area in 2015. Megan then worked as a Research Assistant at the GW Center for Cyber & Homeland Security and a Global Classrooms DC Program Assistant at the United Nations Association of the National Capital Area. In 2014, they took on two roles at NSAWW, first as Chief of Staff and then as Market Analyst. In 2018, they held two positions at Remine, first as a Software Engineer and then as a Support Developer. In 2020, they worked as a Sr. Software Engineer at RE/MAX and in 2021, they held the role of Front End Engineer at Amazon Web Services (AWS). Megan is currently employed as a Software Engineer at TXI, a position they have held since 2022.

Megan Penn has a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Security Policy Studies from the Elliott School of International Affairs, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Honours Bilingual General in International Studies from Glendon Campus of York University | Campus Glendon de l’Université York, a Certificate in Front End Web Development from General Assembly, and a Certificate in Full Stack Web Development from New York Code + Design Academy.
