Merita Bushi

Merita Bushi has over 10 years of work experience in various roles. In 2020, they began working as a Senior Delivery Lead and Delivery Lead at TXI. From 2016 to 2020, they worked at Jellyvision, where they held the roles of Senior Production Specialist, Team Lead, and Production Specialist. In 2017, they were the Student Judge Program Coordinator at Mikva Challenge/Chicago Board of Election. From 2014 to 2017, they worked at Mikva Challenge, where they were a Program Coordinator, Public Allies term, and Program Intern. In 2014, they were a Public Ally at the Mikva Challenge for their Americorps year of service. From 2010 to 2013, they held the role of Help Desk Consultant/Sustainability Worker at Information Technology Services Help Desk, Government Grants Intern at Erie Family Health Center, CSAW REU Community Scholar at the National Science Foundation, and GIS/Legislative Intern at Isuroon. In 2012, they were a GIS Intern at Vadu Rural Health Program.

Merita Bushi attended Macalester College from 2010 to 2014, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Geography, a Political Science minor, and a Community and Global Health concentration. Merita also participated in a Fall 2013 study abroad program through the Alliance for Global Education at Fergusson College, focusing on Contemporary India: Environment, Development, and Public Health.
