Sharon Evans is an experienced Learning and Development professional currently serving as the Learning and Development Manager at Tŷ Hafan since May 2023. Prior to this role, Sharon worked as an ILM Trainer/Assessor at ACT Training Ltd from October 2019 to May 2023, where responsibilities included developing and delivering workshops based on the Institute of Leadership & Management curriculum and assessing learners for ILM NVQ Higher Apprenticeships. Sharon holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management from the University of South Wales, as well as a PGCE from ACT Training and additional qualifications in Operational Management (NVQ Level 5) and Quality Management (Diploma of Education) from the same institution.

Since 1999, Tŷ Hafan has been looking after life-limited children and their families, ensuring they make the most of every precious moment. Not only does Tŷ Hafan provide specialist palliative care, but we also offer a much-needed source of strength, support and short break care. We provide support to the whole family almost anywhere, whether it is at the hospice, their own home or in hospital. From diagnosis we journey with them and are there for as long as necessary. All this is completely free of charge for families in Wales that need us.
