David Cross

Director of Technical Integration at Tychon

David Cross has a long and varied work experience. David began in 2005 as an Information Technology Support Specialist at Brethren Mutual Insurance Company, where they provided hardware and software support for users and created technical documentation for procedures. In 2007, they joined Netconn Solutions as a Systems Engineer in the research and development department, where they were responsible for product demonstrations, lab maintenance and development, and new capabilities research. David then moved to Washington County Technical High School in 2008, where they worked as a Computer Support Specialist on a community project, involving hardware troubleshooting, designing and implementing a Server 2003 Active Directory for student login and shares, and designing and implementing documentation and training for maintenance of AD and shares. In 2010, they joined Northrop Grumman Corporation as a Manager, Cyber Systems Engineer / HBSS Project Manager, where they provided SME level support for MCEN HBSS deployments and enhanced current processes for automation. David then served as a Cyber Systems Engineer / HBSS Technical Lead and a Cyber Systems Engineer / HBSS Engineer, both at the Marine Corps Network Operations and Security Command (MCNOSC). In 2017, they joined TYCHON as Director of Technical Integration, where they supported East Coast customers in Integrating Tychon into new and existing infrastructures. David then became a Senior Technical Integration Manager, supporting US Army, DoE, NAVSEA on Tychon Integration and providing infrastructure support, as well as Integration with McAfee Products, ATD, ENS, ESM, PA, RSD, HIPS, VSE, MA, DXL, and DLP.

David Cross attended Washington County Technical High School from 2003 to 2005. David then went on to obtain an AAS in Network Administration and Computer Support Specialist from Hagerstown Community College from 2005 to 2008. In 2008, they began studying Computer Information Technology at the University of Maryland Global Campus, and obtained a BS in 2010. David also obtained various certifications during their educational journey, including Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Windows Server 2012, CNSS NSTISSI 4011 Information Systems Security Professional, CNSSI 4012 Senior IA Systems Manager, Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS): Windows 7, Configuration, Computer Networking, CompTIA Security+ Professional, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) Windows Server 2003, Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS): Exchange Server 2007, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), CISSP, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) v8, and Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA).
