Raquel Villatoro

Raquel Villatoro is an accomplished journalist currently working as a reporter for the Tyler Morning Telegraph since July 2023. Previously, Raquel held positions as a news intern at The Acadiana Advocate and an editorial intern at Texas Highways Magazine, where contributions included pitching stories focused on Latinx culture and fact-checking articles. Raquel also gained writing experience at North Texas Daily, covering various topics in the arts, entertainment, and news sections. Raquel earned a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and History from the University of North Texas between 2018 and 2021.
