Greg Illgner

Greg Illgner is a seasoned finance and strategy professional with extensive experience in banking and technology. Currently serving as Chief Strategy Officer and Head of Partnerships, Strategy & Execution at TymeBank since October 2018, Greg previously held various leadership roles at Tyme and CommonWealth Bank, focusing on product design and bank licensing. Prior experience includes partnership at SMEfin, strategic management at Standard Bank Group, and various leadership positions at FNB South Africa, where responsibilities ranged from managing core products to developing strategic initiatives for commercial markets. Greg's career began at Basil Read Limited, where technology management and activity-based costing were key focuses. Academically, Greg holds a CFA, an MBA from the University of Cape Town, and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering (Honors) from the University of the Witwatersrand.
