Job description

The Interactions Manager is a new position at Typeform aimed to bring and deliver the best interactions possible to our remote distributed workforce.

The Interactions Manager will be responsible for planning, budgeting and delivering unrivaled interaction events at Typeform, face-to-face or virtually and in varying size scales, from team gatherings to department retreats, offsites, or company events at scale. Also responsible for owning and maintaining the Travel program and building an overall strategy that supports physical interactions, travel and accommodation for Typeform’s remote-first distributed workforce.

Overview Responsibilities

Interactions Management

  • Own and drive the company strategy for interactions (onsite or virtual) including planning, budgeting, coordination and execution within assigned budget and meeting deadlines
  • Building, negotiating and maintaining agreements with external partners and third-parties to deliver events in our major hubs (Barcelona, US, London) as well as smaller locations
  • Discover new modes of collaboration and interaction, using the latest technology
  • Define and execute branded popup kits to be used in interaction events
  • Managing the branded SWAG needed for all interaction events including itinerary, storage and delivery at events
  • Identify requirements and expectations from Business Units for each event, and project plan them in close collaboration with Internal Communications, Brand, Finance, and People & Home team
  • End-to-end delivery of events, including vendors and venues, food and beverage, supplies, equipment, signage, venue décor, travel arrangements, entertainers, photographers, speakers, event set up/tear down, etc
  • Produce clear and detailed written documentation for each event (including before, during and after event) for effective internal communication
  • Compile and monitor internal feedback from employees & leaders to ensure overall events success

Travel Program Management

  • Own the Travel program, including vendor selection as needed
  • Review and maintain travel budgets, costs, and approval flows in the company’s travel management tool
  • Coordinate all traveling and accommodation for face-to-face events
  • Approval of travel requests that exceed established budgets

Minimum Qualifications

  • +4 years experience with event management in a Leadership role
  • Experience working with C-level executives
  • Experience with project management
  • Experience in budget management
  • Preferred location Barcelona

Skills Needed

  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Experience in organizing events for +300 participants in international environments
  • Creative and full of cutting-edge ideas
