Garrett Heffner

Garrett Heffner is an accomplished professional in the field of gene therapy and research, currently serving as Entrepreneur in Residence at RAVen and Vice President of Research at Typewriter Therapeutics, Inc. Since November 2021, Garrett has held the position of Vice President, Gene Therapy at Voyager Therapeutics, Inc., following roles as Sr. Director and Project Team Leader, Gene Therapy at Ambys Medicines and Director at Audentes Therapeutics. Prior to these positions, Garrett contributed significantly as a Senior Scientist in Stem Cell Biology at bluebird bio and as a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at Children's Hospital Boston. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Immunology (Stem Cell Biology) from Stanford University School of Medicine and a degree from Caltech.
