Henrique Magnago has a diverse work experience. Henrique started their career as an intern at WEG in 2016. From 2017 to 2019, they were a master student at Power and Control Electronics Group (GEPOC) at Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, where their research focused on the speed control of a variable speed ethanol genset with a battery bank. In 2019, they joined Typhoon HIL, Inc. as a Power Electronics & HIL Test Engineer, working with ultra-high fidelity Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) real-time emulators for power electronics. Currently, they serve as the Head of Test Automation Solutions Group at Typhoon HIL, Inc.

From 2010 to 2016, they attended Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, where they earned a bacharelado degree in Engenharia with a specialization in Engenharia de Controle e Automação.
In 2014, they also studied at The University of British Columbia for a short period, focusing on Electrical and Computer Engineering as part of their graduation requirements.
Moreover, in August 2020, Henrique obtained a certification in Digital Control of Grid-Tied Converters from Typhoon HIL, Inc.
