Leandro Goicoechea Fernández has a diverse work experience in the field of construction and engineering. Leandro also gained experience as a Building Engineer at DETEA Corporación, where they provided site execution directions, coordinated health and safety measures, and conducted building inspections. Leandro later worked as a freelancer, where they continued to provide building engineering services for refurbishment, demolition, and new construction projects.

Leandro's responsibilities expanded when they joined TYPSA as a Site Supervisor. Leandro supervised and controlled architectural works, ensured quality assurance, monitored site progress, and provided technical assistance for the Female Students Academic Area of Al Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Leandro then transitioned into the role of Architectural Manager at TYPSA, where they were responsible for the architectural works of a project. Leandro coordinated between architectural, MEP, and structural departments, monitored progress, and negotiated with contractors and subcontractors for project improvements.

Leandro later became a Building Engineer - Construction Advisor at TYPSA, where they advised designers on construction solutions and provided cost analysis, constructability assessments, and technical specifications for projects such as the Sports Boulevard - Arts Block District and Mosque in Riyadh.

Leandro's expertise further expanded when they took on the role of Stakeholders Manager at TYPSA. Leandro served as the primary liaison between project designers and local authorities, utilities providers, and other stakeholders. Leandro resolved project blockages, developed strategies, and ensured the project's approval process by relevant agencies.

Leandro's most recent role at TYPSA is Deputy Project Director - Infrastructures, where they collaborate with the Infrastructures Project Director to coordinate different design packages and teams. Leandro manages economical control, change orders administration, and progress monitoring. Leandro also analyzes challenges and determines mitigation measures to minimize project impacts.

Leandro Goicoechea Fernández started their education journey by completing their high school education at Colegio Internacional Europa, where they obtained a Bachillerato degree in Science in the year 2002. Leandro then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Building Engineering at the Universidad de Sevilla from the years 2005 to 2008. In 2009, Leandro completed a Master's degree in Occupational Risk Prevention Management, also from the Universidad de Sevilla. In 2011 and 2012, they obtained an Expert degree in Project Management from the Instituto de Estudios Cajasol. Later, from 2017 to 2018, Leandro pursued a Master's degree in Building Engineering with a focus on Construction Management at the Universidad de Sevilla. Currently, they are studying at the Universidad Europea Miguel de Cervantes, where they are expected to complete a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in 2023. Simultaneously, Leandro is also pursuing a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, with a field of study in Industrial Engineering, which is expected to be completed in 2025.
