Alana S.

Alana S. has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Alana started their career as an HR Advisor at Wine Selectors in 2003, where they handled recruitment, induction, performance coaching, and employee relations. Alana then moved on to Turning Point in 2007 as a Senior HR Advisor, working with London Boroughs on various HR aspects. In 2008, Alana joined Oil Search Limited as an HR Manager and later became a Senior Organizational Development Manager, leading projects in talent management, succession planning, and leadership development. From 2012 to 2013, they took a career break to travel Southeast Asia. Alana then joined Jetstar Airways in 2013 as a Senior People Manager, providing HR support to operational and corporate client groups across Australia and Southeast Asia. Alana later became the Head of People for Jetstar Japan and played a key role in building HR partnerships and supporting the executive team. In 2016, Alana joined REA Group as a Senior HR Business Partner, working with product, technology, and design teams. Alana later became the Executive Manager of HR Business Partnering and People Agility, leading strategic and operational HR initiatives. Currently, Alana holds the position of Head of People Performance at Tyro Payments since 2023.

Alana S. started their education in 1999 at the University of Newcastle, where they pursued a degree in Business with a focus on Industrial Relations and Psychology. Alana completed their undergraduate studies in 2004.

In 2015, Alana attended Human Synergistics and obtained an accreditation in LSI, which stands for Life Styles Inventory. It is unclear how long this accreditation took to complete.

From 2015 to 2017, Alana pursued a Graduate Certificate in Change Management at AGSM @ UNSW Business School. Following the certificate program, Alana then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Change Management, which they completed in 2020.

Additionally, in April 2019, Alana obtained certification as a Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) from Prosci, an external institution.
