Matthew Tang

Matthew Tang is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in litigation and strategic advisory roles. Currently serving as a Strategic Advisor for Venteur since October 2020, Matthew offers strategic and legal guidance for an InsurTech startup in areas including product development and risk management. As Senior Counsel at Tyson & Mendes since October 2018, responsibilities include managing high-exposure commercial litigation matters in both state and federal courts. Previous roles include Associate Attorney positions at Newmeyer & Dillion LLP, focusing on complex construction defect matters, and at McNamara Law Firm, where responsibilities included handling various insurance defense cases from inception through trial. Matthew holds a J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and a B.A. in Political Science from UCLA.
