Carolyn Smith

Carolyn Smith is an ITS Technician with extensive experience at the State of Maryland since October 2015, recognized for effectively resolving operational issues and managing traffic signal malfunctions, as well as overseeing system security and configurations. Prior roles include Facility Maintenance Technician, where traffic flow and safety were prioritized during emergencies, and Lead Technician positions at Spencer Technologies and UHP Wireless Networks, focusing on installation of communication infrastructure and adherence to safety regulations. Carolyn holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from ITT Technical Institute, an Electronics Systems Technician degree from Lincoln Technical Institute-Denver, and an Associate of Arts in Electronics from Nassau Community College.
