Adam Meyer

President | Independent Dealer at U-Haul

Adam Meyer has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Adam started their career in 1986 with Brians Family Restaurants, where they worked their way up to the position of District Manager, opening multiple concepts and units. Adam later served as District Manager at Sero's/Lucky's Steakhouse, overseeing the opening of multiple locations. Adam then worked as a Psychiatric Care Specialist Supervisor at Havenwyck Hospital, where they supervised employees and managed the adolescent/child unit. In 1996, they became Vice President/Director of Operations at Elba Corners, Inc., where they grew the business by 400% and maintained sales success during the 2008 recession. Adam also served as President | Independent Dealer at U-Haul International, Inc, handling staff training and ensuring customer service. Currently, they are working as a General Manager at Love's Travel Stops, where they were fast-tracked from an Operations Manager role. Adam has been selected twice for emerging leaders mid-management training during their tenure at Love's Travel Stops.

Adam Meyer attended the University of Michigan-Flint from 1994 to 1998, studying Psychology/Philosophy. Prior to that, from 1992 to 1994, they attended Oakland University, also studying Psychology/Philosophy. Additionally, Adam has obtained a Serv Safe certification from the National Restaurant Association in January 2013.
