Director Engineering Services at U-Haul

Marco Garcia has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and responsibilities. Marco was the Director of Engineering Services at U-Haul International, Inc, leading teams and delivering product solutions for trucks and trailers in the self-move industry. Marco conducted research, testing, and accident investigations related to vehicle towing combinations and equipment. At Ford Motor Company, Marco held various supervisory roles, including Performance and Fuel Economy Supervisor for the F150 and Expedition/Navigator models, Basic Design Supervisor/Engineering Manager for global intermediate cars, and Vehicle Dynamics and Powertrain NVH roles for the 2015 Mustang program. Marco also served as a Chassis PVT co-lead and led global teams in resolving issues for the Fusion and CD391 carline. Marco's earlier experience at Ford includes leading Vehicle Engineering and Design and Release engineering for the Ford GT program, where they managed design changes and resolved manufacturing issues.

In addition, they hold a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Detroit Mercy, which they obtained from 1996 to 2000. Finally, they have a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, which they obtained from 2000 to 2002.
