Sylvia Garman

Sylvia Garman, CPA, has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of accounting. Sylvia started their career at Arthur Andersen LLP as a Senior Audit Accountant, where they supervised audit staff and received extensive training. Sylvia then moved on to FINOVA Capital Corporation as a Senior Accountant, where they prepared SEC filings and monthly management reports. Sylvia then joined eFunds as a Financial Audit Team Lead, where they assisted in building up the internal audit function and prepared reports on findings. Sylvia further enhanced their expertise at Deloitte as an Internal Audit Manager, providing risk-based approaches to clients and managing multiple engagements. Sylvia then transitioned to Xerox as a Strategic Business Unit Site Manager, and currently holds the position of Director of U-Haul Accounting at U-Haul, where they also served as an Assistant Controller.

Sylvia Garman, CPA obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from UNM Anderson School of Management during the years 1996 to 1998.
