Scott Rubens

Scott Rubens is an experienced television director with a career spanning several decades in both studio and remote production. Since May 2005, Scott has served as Television Director at the United States Agency for Global Media, directing international television programs for diverse audiences in regions such as Taiwan, Albania, and the Middle East. In December 2022, Scott took on the role of Technical Director for "It's Academic," the nation's longest-running television game show. Prior to this, experience includes serving as Multi-Media Director at WUSA 9 for over 21 years, focusing on various programming formats and events, as well as positions at Gannett/Tegna, including Technical Director for "The McLaughlin Group." Scott began a career in broadcasting in 1983, establishing a strong foundation in telecommunications and journalism from the University of Florida.
