Benjamin Naimark-Rowse

Social Movements Advisor at U.S. Agency for International Development

Benjamin Naimark-Rowse is an accomplished professional currently serving as a Social Movements Advisor at USAID since August 2023. Naimark-Rowse has extensive experience in international relations and social movements, holding notable positions such as International Collective Action and Social Movement Expert for USAID at Nickol Global Solutions, and a National Security Fellow at the Truman National Security Project. As a Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations and a Visiting Scholar at Sciences Po, Naimark-Rowse contributes to critical discussions in politics and security. Additionally, Naimark-Rowse has participated in various fellowships, including as a Topol Fellow in Nonviolent Resistance at The Fletcher School and as a Doctoral Research Fellow at the International Center on Nonviolent Conflict. Naimark-Rowse is pursuing a PhD in Comparative Politics and Security Studies from The Fletcher School, following an MPA from Princeton University and a BA from the University of Chicago. Naimark-Rowse is also a father of twin daughters.
