Jillian Lang

Development Officer, Plant Pathologist at U.S. Agency for International Development

Jillian Lang is a skilled Development Officer and Plant Pathologist currently working with USAID since November 2024. Prior to this role, Jillian held various leadership positions at CSU STRATA, including Director of Strategic Partnerships and Director of Licensing and Business Development from November 2020 to November 2024, and participated as a volunteer in the Farmer to Farmer Program focusing on agricultural development in Guatemala in March 2023. Jillian also served as the Director of Strategic Partnerships for the College of Agricultural Sciences at Colorado State University from October 2010 to November 2020, where external partnerships were cultivated to enhance research and student opportunities. Earlier experience includes roles as Lab Manager at Colorado State University, a Chateaubriand Fellow at the Institut de Recherche pour le Développement, a Senior Scientist at Solix Biofuels, and a Research Associate in Plant Pathology at Colorado State University. Jillian Lang holds a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology, an MS in Plant Pathology, and a BS in Biology, all obtained from reputable institutions.
