Brett Downs

Brett Downs has extensive experience in technical and firefighting roles, currently serving as a Firefighter at Dallas County Fire Rescue since April 2018 and as a Technician at AVStar Fuel Systems, Inc. since August 2017. Additionally, Brett has been an Aircraft Tech Craftsman in the United States Air Force since March 2006, where responsibilities include performing functional flight tests, troubleshooting electrical systems, and conducting inspections on F-15 aircraft. Previous roles include Technician positions at Schindler Elevator Corporation and Schindler Group. Brett holds an Associate's degree in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology from the Community College of the Air Force and has pursued further education at multiple institutions including Boise State University and the University of Maryland Global Campus.
