Douglas Smith

Douglas Smith is an experienced Senior Analyst with a robust background in defense and strategic planning. Since February 2011, Douglas has contributed to the Department of the Air Force, focusing on AF Strategy, Combat Requirements, and Joint Force Application. Prior to this role, Douglas served as a Senior Analyst at Alion Science and Technology, providing contract support services and studying joint modeling and simulation efforts. Experience also includes program and project management at Modern Technology Solutions, Inc., supporting various government and defense initiatives, as well as working as an Analyst for the Joint Strike Fighter Program Office at Teledyne Brown Engineering. Douglas began a distinguished career with the United States Air Force from 1980 to 2003, serving as a Navigator and Electronic Warfare Officer. Education includes a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
