R. Wayne Schatz

R. Wayne Schatz is the current Studies, Analysis and Assessments (AF/A9) at U.S. Air Force. Wayne has also served as the Joint Staff Deputy Director For Global Operations (J-39), Executive Officer and Deputy J3 at HQ USTRANSCOM, and Associate Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations at United States Air Force.

Wayne is a highly decorated military officer. R.'s awards and decorations include the Defense Superior Service Medal, the Legion of Merit, and the Bronze Star Medal.

R. Wayne Schatz has a Masters In Public Policy from 1985 in National Security Policy Studies from Harvard Kennedy School. R. also has a BS in Economics and Operations Research from the United States Air Force Academy.
