Jeffrey S. Hoersch

Vice President and Controller at U.S. Cellular

As vice president and controller, Jeff is responsible for U.S. Cellular's accounting, financial reporting and internal control functions. He also helps guide the company's financial decisions to ensure that U.S. Cellular provides a great experience for customers. He collaborates with various teams to establish and enforce financial policies, procedures, controls, and the operation of reporting systems.

Since joining U.S. Cellular in 1998, Hoersch has held several roles of increasing responsibility focused on finance, operations, process improvement and accounting. Prior to his current position he served as vice president of financial planning and analysis. In that role he was responsible for strategic and corporate development, intercarrier services, budgeting and forecasting, shared data analytics and data governance. Before joining U.S. Cellular, Hoersch held a variety of finance positions with BellSouth Wireless.

A certified public accountant, Hoersch earned a master's degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, and a bachelor's degree in finance from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wis. He lives in Elgin, Ill., with his wife and three children.
