Elena Healing

Elena Healing currently serves as Branch Chief for Coverage Measurement Operations within the Decennial Statistical Studies Division at the U.S. Census Bureau since July 2019. Prior to this role, Elena worked as a Mathematical Statistician in the same division, focusing on census enumeration at the U.S. Department of Commerce. From August 2017 to July 2019, Elena was involved in statistical reporting for production systems at GEICO. Earlier, from July 2009 to April 2017, Elena held the role of Senior Licensing Auditor, where responsibilities included developing the corporate licensing budget and monthly variance reports. Additionally, as a Pricing Actuary at GEICO, Elena developed and filed rate change proposals across various insurance lines. Elena holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Economics and a Master of Science in Cybersecurity Management & Policy, both from the University of Maryland and University of Maryland Global Campus, respectively.
