John Stone

John Stone has extensive experience in the U.S. Coast Guard, holding various leadership and analytical positions since June 1997. Currently serving as the Lead of the Waterways Mobility Division, John has also worked as a Waterways Management Program Analyst and Marine Transportation Specialist. John’s previous roles include Commanding Officer of USCGC Mackinaw and USCGC MOBILE BAY, Chief of the Navigation Technology and Risk Management Division, and Deputy Program Manager for Business Intelligence. John holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.
