Michael Barth

Michael Barth serves as a Vice President and Industry Risk Manager at JPMorganChase, where responsibilities include overseeing business operations within the Industry Risk Group. Prior roles at JPMorganChase also included positions as Strategy Senior Associate and Strategy Associate in Commercial Banking. Michael holds the rank of Lieutenant Junior Grade in the U.S. Coast Guard and previously served as an Ensign and Officer Candidate. Prior to the Coast Guard, experience included roles as a Consulting Associate and Associate at Marakon, an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Greentech Capital Advisors, and internships at the U.S. House of Representatives and Giant Interactive Group Inc. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude in Financial Economics from Columbia University and a Business Chinese certificate from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
