Krysta Harden

President and CEO at U.S. Dairy Export Council

Krysta Harden has extensive work experience in the agricultural industry. Krysta currently holds the position of President and CEO at the U.S. Dairy Export Council since February 2021. Prior to this, they were the Chief Operating Officer at the same organization from May 2020 to February 2021.

Before joining the U.S. Dairy Export Council, Harden worked at Dairy Management Inc. as the Executive Vice President of Global Environmental Strategy from April 2019 to February 2021.

Krysta also held leadership roles at DuPont and Corteva, serving as the Vice President of Public Policy and Chief Sustainability Officer at DuPont from February 2016 to February 2019, and as the Senior Vice President of External Affairs and Chief Sustainability Officer at Corteva from February 2016 to February 2019.

Harden has significant experience in government and public service, having worked at the USDA in various positions. Krysta was the Deputy Secretary from August 2013 to February 2016, the Chief of Staff from January 2011 to August 2013, and the Assistant Secretary for Congressional Relations from May 2009 to January 2011.

Their earlier career includes the role of CEO at the National Association of Conservation Districts from March 2004 to May 2009.

Throughout their career, Krysta Harden has demonstrated their expertise and commitment to the agricultural industry, particularly in the areas of sustainability, environmental strategy, and global dairy export.

Krysta Harden attended The University of Georgia from 1979 to 1981, where they obtained an ABJ degree with a concentration in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs.
