Michelle Westling

Michelle Westling, MS, currently serves as a Senior Program Specialist in the Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) at the USDA, where responsibilities include collaboration with western area state agencies on the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). Previously, Michelle worked as a Senior Program Specialist in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Integrity Branch. Prior experience also includes a role as a Lifestyle and Portrait Photographer at Michelle Westling Photography, where a passion for capturing genuine connections and florals was evident. Additionally, Michelle held the position of Senior Rating Specialist at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, adjudicating veterans' disability claims with high accuracy. Early career experience includes an internship at Kriste Michelini Interiors and a role as a Physical Therapist at Sutter Health, providing care in acute and skilled nursing facilities. Michelle holds a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Boston University.
